A lot of phone calls the past few days wanting to clear this up. They will be posted on the website later today or tomorrow. You can call me as well to get more info or see me at the Chili Bowl.

Looking for some clarification.
I was informed by man folks the rules from the Tulsa Shootout were what many other tracks would run. However, it doesn't seem this way at all. Main question, is fuel injection allowed at all, gas or alcohol? I thought last year gas was ok.
From the Tulsa Shooout 2009 rules
"A" CLASS ........................750 lbs.
Alcohol/Gasoline, Stock 600cc, stock carbs. Injected with power commander allowed gas or alcohol. No timing modules allowed, Stock throttle bodies only.
From I-44 website 2009 rules
2008 or older powered engines are allowed on carburetion only. So can we run stock injection on gas as we could last year? The 2009 rules do not say anything about fuel injection of any kind.
From the 2008 Port City Rules (I know you can know run 2008 or older, what is the status on carbs or injection?)
Engines. (This applies to Restrictor, Sportsman, A-Class, and Non-Wing) For Carb or fuel injected engines you
may use either or wiring harness as long as example, Yamaha with Yamaha, or Honda with Honda.

My mom worded it wrong online and it will be corrected. In the A class / Non wing you can run a 08 or older on stock injection with gas. You can also run methanol on stock carbration on the 08's or older. We will not be adding weight to these classes either and let me know if you have any other questions.

Chaz, Do the carburetors on these engine have to match the model of engine? example Yamaha on Yamaha, Honda on Honda, Or can we mix and match?

Chaz said in the meeting any Carb on any accepted motor!
But they also said that the Black R6 motors would have added weight also and that doesn't look like that is happening!
