Tach Lead for a 05 R6?

Recommended Posts

Trying to install a Shindy Daytona Tach on my 05 R6 and cant seem to make it work I have the leads correct on the tach to Power and ground, I can see the tach light up when I hit the power but I get no readout once it is running?

The Wiring harness has the been used in the past with a Stewart Warner Tach and worked but I cant seem to get the Daytona to work on the same lead out of the harness?

Can I put a Electrical meter on the lead and to ground and see if the lead is sending anything out?

Thanks

Duane

Yellow Black is correct Tach output wire from ECU. Some Hotboxes seem to have the Tach output disabled.

I Talked to the manufacture today and he said I need to do a "reset" by pushing both buttons at the same time, He said that just powered up I should see the time or zeros and I am not!

Thanks for all the answers!

Duane
