Flatslide carb question

Recommended Posts

I have a question for those of you that have run flatslide carbs on your R6. When the air is bad, i.e., low density, which way do you adjust the needles? Leaner or richer. Conversely when the air gets better i.e., the air is more dense, do you richen or lean them? I'm looking for better throttle reponse on green flag starts and restarts.

Thanks in advance for your help.

We have noticed with our O2 sensor that when the air has lots of humidity you want to lean it out. That is because of the moisture in the air. Low humidity you can richen it up. During the summer when you get it close you shouldn't have to change much.
